The epilogue of the sixth Monaco Challenge Mont Ventoux took place today Saturday, June 8, 2019, on the steep slopes of the giant of Provence!
After 80 km of warm-up between Forcalquier and the col des abeilles, the participants started on the final time trial given from Bedoin.
Staggered every minute, the Challengers have thrown their strength into this ultimate effort. Once at the chalet Reynard, the magical vision of the summit has allowed everyone to transcend to get to the end of this challenge.
One of the objectives of the challenge has been achieved: allow all “Le Point Rose” to cross the Côte d’Azur and Provence, to finally get closer to the sky at the top.
Tomorrow is a well-deserved recovery day, which awaits everyone.
In the meantime, the gala dinner will help to redo the race and to remember a number of experiences and anecdotes experienced during this edition.
In 2020, the Monaco Mont Ventoux Challenge will be organized at the end of June just before the big start of the Tour de France, in Nice. The dates will be formalized very soon!
